چکیده

Introduction: Sequential lymphomas involving both classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (cHL) and Primary Mediastinal B-cell have been previously reported but initial diagnosis of cHL followed by a distinct Diffuse Large B-Cell (DLBCL) or vice versa is an extremely rare phenomenon. Multiple etiological factors are involved in lymphoma pathogenesis. The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) has studied extensively about rising susceptibility many diseases certain different human leukocyte antigen (HLA) associations with HL DLBCL proposed. This the first report HLA investigation patients sequential lymphomas. Methods: We defined class I (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C) II (HLA-DRB1, HLA-DQB1) 5 (2 female/ 3 male) versa. typing for HLA-A*, B*, C*, DRB1*, DQB1* was performed using Sequence-Specific Oligonucleotide (SSO) Primer (SSP). results were compared χ2 to those found 250 healthy adult donors from bone marrow bank Northern Greece. Results: Three our HLA-DRB1*11 (DR11)/HLA-DQB1* 03 (DQ7) positive (5/10 haplotypes). high frequency HLA-DR11/DQ7 combination among (50%) differed not significantly observed this individuals (21%) (p = 0.04 after Yate's correction p 0.09). Τwo displaying treated ABVD cHD developed nine three years respectively. Both alive remission third HLADR11/DQ7+ patient CHOP 21 primary DLBCL. Interestingly while being she additionally mycosis fungoides finally diagnoses Conclusions: Although reaching statistical significance due small number cases suggest that analysis may be field investigational interest regarding -DR11 as risk factor irrespectively EBV status. Importantly HLA-DQ7 pathogenesis autoimmune diseases. HLA- DR11/DQ7 association vulvar lichen sclerosus asthma. Of note also described one case familial systemic sclerosis following exposure organic solvent. In conclusion emphasize necessity collecting investigating order elucidate underlying contributory mechanisms lymphoproliferative Keywords: Lymphoid Cancers – Other, Pathology Classification Lymphomas No conflicts interests pertinent abstract.
